Tanzvermittlung in KörperBildSinnSprache
How do you understand each other in a room only with movement and without language? How does dance communication work without spoken and sign language? The movo association addresses these questions in its movement workshop without grammatical language. Two dancers, one deaf, one hearing, share their joy of experimentation with the participants. Artistic means are used to explore sensual communication, e.g. smells become gestures and objects become facial expressions and dance.
No prior or movement knowledge is necessary to participate in the workshop and it is a relaxed workshop, all movements and body positions are possible.
Movo is an association for performing arts with deaf and hearing people. The association is committed to connecting these two worlds, to promoting the deaf community in Switzerland and to experimental projects in dance and theatre.
The workshop is a collaboration with the Tanzfest Bern.
